Organic Repetition

Repetition. Nature appears to repeat itself within organic species, however it is constantly changing.  Is the evolution of pattern a trial and error of beauty?  As observers, the whole becomes beautiful and abstract - we just need to sit still enough to appreciate how immense nature is, in variation.
